Ween

Ween is an American experimental pop/rock band formed by the two key members Gene Ween (Aaron Freeman) and Dean Ween (Mickey Melchiondo Jr.) when they met in a high school typing class. The band's early music is well known for its drug-fueled and obnoxious nature, however this sound evolved drastically over Ween's lifetime into a softer rock sound (nonetheless still experimental at times). After suffering a breakdown in 2012, Aaron announced that he was quiting the band in order to go through rehab. Three years later Ween reformed with their previous lineup. They're notably huge Deadheads and coined the term "brown music" when describing music that sounds distorted, gross, and weird.

Ween fans are very divided and can never agree on anything, more so than usual on here. The only common ground shared between most Ween fans is agreeing that Quebec is pretty good. Other than that, every Ween fan has a different favorite.
