Microphones glow pt2-1-.jpg

The Glow Pt. 2 is the seventh album by The Microphones. It was named after a song from Phil Elvrum's previous album, It Was Hot, We Stayed in the Water, "The Glow." The album is known for its lo-fi sound and psychedelic arrangements, as well for Elvrum's powerful ability to make you feel feels. Pitchfork named it the album of the year in 2001, and Anthony Fantano named it his 4th favorite singer-songwriter album.
