Swans is a formerly No Wave, Industrial, Post-Punk, and now Post-Rock band from New York City led by lead singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Gira.
Most Swans fans are huge fags who only listen to them because notable hipster Anthony Fantano gave one of their albums a 10/10 rating. Swans have a surprising crossover appeal with shitty "band" Death Grips so most Swans fans you'll encounter are most likely edgy reclusive teens.
