Slowdive are a five-piece shoegazing band from England. Their seminal album "Souvlaki", released in 1993, is regarded as one of the greatest albums in the shoegazing genre along with My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless". Like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive also includes a qt female vocalist sometimes. There is much debate among fans of both bands on which band had the cuter shoegazer: Bilinda Butcher of My Bloody Valentine or Rachael Goswell of Slowdive.
