Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant is the fourth album by Belle & Sebastian. It was released on June 6, 2000. It features more lush instrumentation and better production value than their previous albums. It was received well, but criticism came to the fact that the songs by other band members weren't as good as Stuart Murdoch's songs. It is the last album to feature bassist and founding member Stuart David, who departed the band following the completion of the album.
