Guided by Voices are an influential rock band from Dayton, Ohio. They were pivotal in the lo-fi movement of the 1990s. They are known for the large amount of albums they put out in a short time, and for having albums that feature primarily a large amount of short songs. The band initially broke up in 2002, but reunited in 2010, and have returned to releasing albums.
